Story Behind the Art:
'Our mother Alicia applied the technique of etched clay, used on pre-Hispanic replicas, to decorative accessories like lamps and vases. Back then, only a few craftspeople mastered this art. We were able to learn it and expand it to other artisans who collaborated with my mother. With my brother Eduardo, the elaboration process became much more agile and controlled. He brought gas kilns to our workshop, which allowed us to produce more pieces of consistent quality.'

The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.
